How to Measure for Electric Blinds
Measuring for Electric Roller Blinds & Day & Night Blinds
- Recess fitting – Measure your recess in three places for both the width and drop and take the smallest measurements.
- Face fitting – Measure the full width and height of your window frame and add at least 70mm at the top and 50mm to each side of your measurements so it covers your window completely.
Measuring for Electric Roman Blinds
- Recess fitting – Measure the width and drop in three places and take the smallest measurements
- Face fitting – Similar to Roller Blinds, measure the width and height of your window and add around 70mm to the top and 50mm to each side

How Do Electric Blinds Work?
These blinds work through a rechargeable battery motor that’s located inside the headrail. If you’re wondering how to adjust Electric Blinds, simply ensure that the motors power switch at the side is set to ‘on’, then through the Tuiss SmartView app, adjust them to raise and lower to your desired height. You can also drag the blind up and down on screen, allowing you to gain further precision on their placement.
